This is the new LPG Website and Blog. Here you will find information, support, and links that we hope will make your years at Lutz and Beyond a little easier.

Here is a brief description of each section and it’s sub-sections:

Home: This is the main page of the website. Here you will find our mission statement. Scrolling down you will find:

• What We Do – an explanation of what the LPG does
• Photo Galleries – links to the photo galleries of events at and around Lutz (access code is needed to view these galleries)
• The LPG Google Calendar – All the LPG events, the Lutz School Calendar and Lutz School sponsored events for the coming year
• Posts – Where you will find the three most current posts made on the LPG Blog
• And finally at the bottom there is a widget area that contains a countdown to the next Parent Group Meeting, a link to our Facebook page, the next three events coming up on the calendar, and an invitation to follow our website/blog.

Under the home section you will find two tabs in the drop-down menu.

• Commenting Policy: This outlines the rules for commenting on blog posts.
• Blog: This is where you will find all the blog posts made with commenting opportunities at the end of each post.

About Us: This section contains sub-sections all pertaining to the LPG Parent Group

• Meet the Lutz Parent Group – A current list of the Board Members of the Parent Group as well as Committee Chairs.
• LPG Calendar – The LPG Google Calendar
• Contact – If you need to contact the Parent Group for any reason, fill out the form and we will get back to you.
• Facebook Page – A direct link to our Facebook Page.

LPG Meetings

• Monthly Meeting Schedule – A schedule of all the Parent Group Meetings for the current school year.
• Monthly Meeting Minutes – Access to the current year’s Parent Group Meeting Minutes.

Activities/Fundraisers

• Upcoming Events – This section contains RSVP/registration access to some of the upcoming events at Lutz School.
• Activities at Lutz – Here you will find a complete list of activities and dates of all the events sponsored/supported by the Parent Group as well as other upcoming activities at Lutz School.
• Local Activities – A listing of local activities throughout Macomb County for Special Needs Adults.
• Fundraisers & Spirit Wear – This section will contain a listing of some of the upcoming fundraisers as well as information about our annual Spirit Wear sale.

Lutz School

• A Day in the Life – A breakdown of what a typical day at Lutz is like for the students
• Student of the Month – Information about the Student of the Month program at Lutz
• Work Study Program – A listing of the businesses that support the students and offer them work experience
• Lutz 2018/2019 Calendar – A copy of the current Lutz 2018/2019 School Calendar
• Lutz Website – A link to the official Lutz School website

Photos – These are the photo galleries from events/activities sponsored/supported by the Lutz Parent Group. Access only upon approval.

Completer’s Corner – Currently under construction. Proposed categories to include: Completer activities for the coming year, parent testimonials, and a photo gallery.
