Thanksgiving is coming, just two days to go,
So much still needs doing, but want you to know–
Although somewhat different, our lives are still blessed
Be grateful and always make each day the best!
Be thankful for family, wherever they are.
Their love does not waiver, be near or be far.
Be thankful for friendships, time tested and true,
They’re with you in spirit, and thinking of you.
Be thankful for shelter and clothes that you wear,
For food on your plate and memories to share.
Although things aren’t perfect, there’s joy to be found
In peace, love and laughter, and hope the world round.
