25 Days of Christmas Trivia – Day 1

Welcome to the Lutz Keep In Touch 25 Days of Trivia Event. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. Hope you enjoyed your dinner, ate too much, spent time with loved ones, and are ready for Day 1 of our Christmas Trivia.

Remember, the first student or parent/guardian on behalf of their student with the correct answer will win. The submission form is at the bottom of this post. Everyone is welcome to play, but only students or their parent/guardian on their behalf can win. Type your answer in the form below and hit submit. All submissions will be time stamped. This post is also going to be available on the Keep In Touch Facebook Group, so you can either use the submission form, email me at dukicinclan@gmail.com, or message me on Facebook messenger.  Good luck and let’s have some fun with this.

So here it is…your first clue: Which classic Christmas movie will you find this mug/glass?

To kick off the trivia, Zack and I chose to start with a holiday movie. Every Thanksgiving, after dinner is through, the dishes have been done, pie has been eaten, and naps have been snuck, it’s time to fire up a special Christmas movie that we have watched every Thanksgiving for the past 25 years. As we watch the movie, we decorate the center of all our holiday decorations — our family tree. This tree contains ornaments from as far back as 1945 (my grandparents tree) all the way up till now. There are homemade ornaments, store bought, handed down, and gifted ones. In all, there are over 300 ornaments on our tree and every year, every ornament goes on. Each ornament has a story, and I know every one of them. It is a wonderful night for all of us. We reminisce about years past, and enjoy the warmth and comfort of family fun.

I’m hoping this isn’t too difficult. For us, you could probably quote any line from the movie and we could tell you who said it and when, but if you’re not as familiar, even this photo clue might not be enough. So, if no one answers correctly by tomorrow morning, I will give you another clue. Let’s see how many Christmas movie experts are out there.

THIS QUESTION IS CLOSED. STAY TUNED FOR THE NEXT QUESTION AT 5 P.M. ON NOVEMBER 27, 2020,
