Although many outside activities are still not open due to Covid-19 restrictions, Tony Woznicki found this opportunity for students and shared it:
Hello All!
I am happy to tell you that Adaptive Rec Bowling is now restarted at Summit Bowling Center, 66600 Van Dyke, Washington, 48095. Their phone is 586.752.7006.
What is the same? Romeo Rollers Bowling is still on Thursdays, 4PM
What is different?
1. Prices have changed. $6 for 3 games OR you can pay for an hour for $15
$4 2 slices pizza/pop OR 1 hot dog/pop OR
1 grilled cheese/pop
2. You MUST WEAR A MASK TO ENTER, PAY & USE THE RESTROOM. You do not have to wear a mask to play or while eating (of course).
Summit has increased cleaning protocols and there are hand sanitizers.
3. When you enter, you must sign in with a phone number (for contact tracing required by the state) & pay. At this time, please pay for and choose which food items you want, if any.
4. Summit will try to leave a lane open between bowling groups if there is room.
5. Please leave your Summit bowling ball and shoes on your lane when you leave so they know to disinfect them. There will be gloves for you if you need to select a Summit ball. Bring your own ball/shoes if you have them!
6. This program is currently run by Summit Sports, and I will be unable to be there for now. If you have questions, please call Summit or you can email me and I will try to assist you.
I am so happy that this Adaptive Rec activity has restarted for you! If you need to reach me, email is the best way for now as I am not currently in the office.
I hope that you and your families and friends are all well. I know this year has been difficult for all of us.
Sincerely,
—
