Caitlin Collins – Are you named after anyone? If so, who and why?: Caitlin “Mary” is named after her grandmother Does your name have any special meaning?: Caitlin is Irish. Caitlin is an Irish  name. Zachary Dukicin – Are you named after anyone? If so, who and why?: No. Does your name have any special meaning?: Yes, it means “God Remembers” Do you have a middle name? What is it?: In Serbian culture, there are no middle names, so no I do not.  Legally in Serbia, Zachary would be identified as: “Dukicin, Dragisa’s Zachary” — meaning Dragisa Dukicin’s son Zachary. Dragisa is Zachary’s dad’s name, but he goes by Dan. Have you ever had a nickname? If so, what is it?: Lots. My dad started calling me “Zachariah, Zebulon, Zandor, Zambonie, Zot” (all of them right in a row) when I was very young, he also called me Wildman because I was wild when I was a toddler, he also called me The Bulla-Bulla Kid, but now he mostly calls me Schmoo. My mom calls me Bunny (and when she does my dad has to call me Rabbit) or she calls me Buddy. Today, when my dad saw that Brandon Bush’s nickname was Bdog, he decided my new nickname should be Z-cat. At work, one guy calls me The Dukes and my boss calls me The Champ. Samantha Emanuel – Are you named after anyone? If so, who and why?: No, my mom loved the name and loved Sam as a nickname. Does your name have any special meaning?: Just my middle after my mom Elizabeth Do you have a middle name? What is it?: Elizabeth Have you ever had a nickname? Brendan Johanson – Are you named after anyone? If so, who and why?: My given name is my very own!  Does your name have any special meaning?: My 1st name does. My parents were torn between Brendan Eric & Kevin Matthew. But, when the dr. held me up & my mom saw my curly black hair, she knew that I was Brendan! In Irish Gaelic, Brendan can mean (among other things) Raven or Raven-Haired. Do you have a middle name? What is it?: Eric Have you ever had a nickname? If so, what is it?: When I was a baby my 1st OT called me Brendy. A few years later, I decided Bren was more grown-up. My brother also calls me “Tank”. But that’s his nickname for me, because his nickname (from a hockey coach) is Guppy. If you could choose your own nickname, what would it be?: Thor-Wolf Do you like your name? : Yes! I LOVE the way my name & my brother’s “match”. We both have traditional Irish Gaelic names that start with BR, end in N, and are two syllables.  If you could change your name to any other name, what would it be?: Thor. Brian & I wished our parents named us Wotan & Thor. I picked Thor because of his cool hammer. (Or, ax in the Marvel version).

Zachary Lombardo – Are you named after anyone? If so, who and why?: My middle name is after my Grandpa Jim who I never met because he died way before I was born  Does your name have any special meaning?: No Do you have a middle name? What is it?: Yes, James Have you ever had a nickname? If so, what is it?: Zack If you could choose your own nickname, what would it be?: Zack Attack Do you like your name? : Yes If you could change your name to any other name, what would it be?: Seth (after the WWE wrestler lol)

Anna Martin – Are you named after anyone? If so, who and why?: I’m named after my great grandmas, Anna and Louise. My twin was named after our Grandpas, Anthony and Patrick. Does your name have any special meaning?: I was supposed to be called Anna Louise, but everyone at the hospital started calling me Anna Banana and then just Anna. My mom named me and my twin to honor her grandmas and my parent’s dads. Do you have a middle name? What is it?: Louise Have you ever had a nickname? If so, what is it?: Anna Banana or Beena. My mom calls me Lovely Lady sometimes!. If you could choose your own nickname, what would it be?: I like my nicknames! Megan Parker – Are you named after anyone? If so, who and why?: I, Megan Parker, am named after my mom’s godmother and aunt Marjorie and my dad’s grandmother Margie. The name Megan comes from those names. A funny coincidence is that my mom and her college roomates each have had children born in March, whose names start with M (Megan and Melissa), and the kids born in April have names starting with A (Andy and Andrew). Totally on accident, but a freaky coincidence. Does your name have any special meaning?: It means “strong and capable”. My parents asked many people how to spell my name since there are many ways. Most people said the simplest way, even if their parents chose a different way. I am able to find my name often in personalized things in stores. Do you have a middle name? What is it?: Alexandra, same as my middle name before my adoption in Russia. In Russia, childrens middle names are from their father’s name, so Alexandra means daughter of Alex. Have you ever had a nickname?
