April 26, Keep In Touch Daily Challenge participants were challenged to create their own crayon color or theme. All of the suggestions are a great starting point for an whole line of crayons. Be sure to read through them all to the end and see where they could go from here…

- Pink and black crayon
- Called Make-up

- Red apple
- Green leaf
- Yellow sun

- I would create a watermelon crayon that is red with a green wrapper like the rind and smells like watermelon. It would be called “Color and Sniff Watermelon”. It could be part of a whole box of “Color and Sniff” crayons that are mostly fruit smells, but with some pop smells also like Dr. Pepper and root beer!!

- Unbreakable.
- Silver and blue, Detroit Lions logo, “Lions best”

- Crayon name: Zebra Rocks! A picture of a zebra with the pattern variations on the wrapper.
- Black & White in one crayon.
- There might be multiple variations of what the crayon looks like. This crayon would have vertical black & white stripes, plus some horizonal stripes, plus a marbleized section. So, even with just two colors, how they would come out on paper would vary.
- I would also like a bright green & orange version called “Citrus Juice” with limes & oranges with a variety of skin and/or slices with the patterns.
- These would be oversized crayons so that they could “hold” the variations.
- Also, the wider crayons are easier to hold and don’t break as easily.

- Blue, orange and yellow.
- And name it Blorangellow.
- The wrapper would be a tie-dye of the 3 colors

- I would create a purple crayon, like the color of the old Dodge Challengers back in the 1970’s.
- I would wrap my crayons in a decent quality wrapper.
- I would name my crayons crazy names. Like passion pit purple, over the top orange, blast off black etc.

- Sam’s Blue Eyes – crystal blue with a little silver like my eyes.
- The wrapper would look very pretty

- I choose the combo colors
- Orange fruit
Red tomatoes
Purple train
Pink lava
Green lime
Blue bubble gum
Black berries
White horns
Gray Mr Gary
Yellow bananas
Brown licorice
Dark green soda

- My crayons would all be based on WWE Wrestling.
- There would be a Black/Red striped one for Monday Night RAW
- NXT (Tuesday night wrestling) would Black/Yellow Stripe
- Friday Night Smackdown would be White/Blue Stripe
- Special events like WrestleMania, Backlash, Elimination Chamber, Money in the Bank, etc. would all be other color combinations – striped. There are twelve of these a year so they could have their own box of 12.
- Each wrestler would have their own crayon color with their name on it. Their color would be based on their outfits they wear and marbleized. Roman Reigns would be Black/Blue marbleized, Hulk Hogan would be Red/Yellow marbleized, The Great Kali would be a combination of browns marbleized, Kofi Kingston would be Black/Yellow marbleized, Natalia would be Black/Pink marbleized, etc.
- There would be Hall of Famer crayon boxes and separate boxes for each brand (RAW, Smackdown, NXT).
- The boxes would have WWE artwork and wrestlers.
- The biggest box would be a yearly commemorative one for the biggest event of the year WrestleMania. It would be dated and have crayons from all the wrestlers competing as well as special event crayons for the state where it is held, special announcers, etc.
All of these ideas are great starting points.
- Taylor could create an entire line of Make-Up colors and separate them by eyeshadow, lipstick, blushes, etc. Maybe she could even come up with an evening line and daytime line-up.
- Antonya could come up with an object to attach to every color of the rainbow and beyond.
- Matthew came up with Color & Sniff crayons. Tons of options here. Possibly have icky smelling ones, floral smelling ones, seasonal smells, holiday smells.
- Megan’s idea for a Detroit Lion’s crayon could be expanded to included all the NFL teams and then maybe even go further and hit different sports like baseball, basketball, and hockey or even do college or local teams too. Or how about doing a separate box for each team and have the crayon colors be named after the players. And unbreakable — EVERY crayon should have that characteristic.
- Brendan’s oversized crayons could have boxes of marbleized crayons, striped crayons, and then do combinations as well.
- Zachary L’s tie-dye crayons — well, need I say more. Who doesn’t love tie-dye.
- Roxanne’s idea could be broken down by car styles, decades (1970, 1980, 1990), or combinations.
- Samantha’s personalized eye color crayon could inspire personalized boxes of crayons based on each person. You would have hair color, eye color, maybe include their personal favorites like favorite color, favorite foods (Grilled Cheese Yellow), favorite outfits. Each box would be unique to the person it is created for.
- Dominique had some great color names, but the one that struck me was Grey – Mr. Gary. Well, how about a box of crayons where every crayon is named after the teachers and staff at Lutz. There’d also be a PAWS crayon and crayons for special events (Silver/Gold marble for Silver & Gold Dance). The possibilities are endless.
- And Zack’s WWE Wrestling crayons — well he covered that one pretty good.
