“Hi!” Lutz Families,

As I was working on today’s Daily Challenge, which was for participants to list positive things to think about in honor of Upsy-Daisy Day which is “a day to remind people to get up gloriously, gratefully, and gleefully each morning” (click here if you’d like to read more), it occurred to me that one thing that always makes Zack happy is the prospect of receiving mail.

It’s been awhile since we’ve done a card exchange, so I thought I’d see if there was any interest in doing a “Just to say Hi!” Card Exchange. June 29th is National Hug Holiday and I thought this exchange would tie in nicely with that. What better way to send a hug to someone, than in a card. Okay, so doing it in person is obviously better, but sometimes you’ve got to find an alternative, especially when you might not see everyone as often as you would like.

The Dollar Tree has a good selection of cards that would be perfect for this. They have blank note cards in packs of 6 for $1 as well as some cute “Checking In” type cards at 2 for $1.00. Here’s a picture of a few I picked up recently:

You can sign up for this exchange using the form below until June 18th and I’ll send out addresses by the 20th so you can get your cards in the mail in plenty of time to arrive by June 29th.

I checked at the Dollar Tree and they did not have 4th of July cards, which would have been fun, but alas, maybe we can send out friendship cards in July (the Dollar Tree does have those) in honor of National Friendship Day on July 30th.

Also, I have only heard from 6 families with 2021 Completers, but for anyone that would be interested in sending cards to those completers in honor of this great accomplishment, be on the lookout for a signup form coming soon.
