Photo Challenges are designed to encourage you to get up, get out, or get moving. You may be required to take a photo/selfie of you doing something inside or outside, you might have to find an object that begins with a certain letter of the alphabet or be a certain color, or you might need to find something seasonal outside like a brown leaf, a puddle, or a bug. For each challenge, you will need to hold a piece of paper stating the Challenge Day Number, the date, or a designated word or phrase that is requested in the challenge to prove that the photo is being taken that day and not being Googled and sent in. Some will require you to be in the photo, while others will be of objects, animals, or other people. For example: If the challenge asks you to take a picture of something in your kitchen that starts with the letter M, you would need to take a picture of say a potato Masher or a Mixer or a Melon with a little note next to it saying Day (insert that day’s number) or the current date.
All photo challenges should be able to be completed in your home, backyard, or neighborhood. If there are any challenges that require you to go to a park or other location, there will be an alternative challenge for you to complete if you are unable to go there. Oh, and just for fun, there might even be a few opportunities for bonus points by sending in a video clip instead of or in addition to a photo. Video challenges will be offered as bonus challenges, so DO NOT submit a video unless it is requested.
Photo submissions will need to be emailed to lutzkeepintouch@gmail.com or messaged to me via Facebook Messenger. Please do not text photos to my phone unless there is no possible way for you to email or message them to me. I will not send a confirmation email that your submission was received, rather, you can check that you received your daily point on the Daily Challenge Standings page, which will be posted and updated daily after the first Challenge is complete.
Photos will be shared in a password protected gallery where participants can see what other submissions were made. The password will be made available to those that request it once they have participated in one challenge.
Not clear on how this is going to work? Don’t worry, Day 1’s challenge will be a photo challenge so you’ll get a chance to give it a shot then. I will be posting Zack’s submission along with the challenge so you’ll have a better idea of what all this means.
