Lisa Dukicin: At the risk of making everyone jealous, I will share with you what I received. I got the absolute best pink Santa slippers! I know, it’s hard to top that, but I also received an absolutely awesome Christmas cardigan with a cool rainbow sequin Christmas tree on it and…wait for it…gingerbread serving tongs along with a Christmas rubber scraper and whisk! Now I will have Christmas all year long in the kitchen…doesn’t get any better than that! So blessed and grateful.

Matthew Scherer: Matthew wanted a Shark 2-in-1 vacuum. He kept looking at various ones online at different stores and took a picture of one from Target that he thought he wanted. But when he and I saw one at Kroger, he clearly stated, “This is the one!” And then he wanted to delete the one from Target. I told him that we would have to talk with his dad because it cost $180. So later on that night, I told my husband about Matthew saying that and he agreed that we had to buy that for him. How could we resist him when Matthew very infrequently speaks in complete sentences! So my husband went back the next day and bought it for him. He snuck it into the house and hid it. Then Matthew woke up on Christmas morning to see a tall rectangular wrapped box next to the tree. He had to open that one first! He couldn’t wait to vacuum underneath our beds. We found out how much time our cat, Simba, spends underneath our beds!! Presents that involve cleaning the house without me having to do it are right up my alley!! LOL
