Lisa Dukicin: Growing up my mother made a special holiday punch when entertaining — Orange Cream Punch. I absolutely loved it. This might have been because it reminded me of the Orange Julius’ we’d get while Christmas shopping at Oakland Mall. My mothers recipe had orange sherbet, vanilla ice cream, orange juice, and Vernors in it. It was my absolute favorite punch — and still is. Now I’ll make individual servings for us when we want a very special treat.
Zack Dukicin: Starbucks Peppermint Mocha Frap
Brendan Johanson: Hot chocolate with whipped creme!
Diane Johanson: Hot Chocolate Egg Nog! My dad created this for me on Christmas morning when I was about nine! I think that he made the egg nog – not positive. But he put some nog in a saucepan, added chocolate syrup, and heated it. My dad did this because he wanted me to enjoy a cup of egg nog with my parents, but knew that I didn’t care for “egg nog, plain”. It tastes like decadent hot chocolate and always means “The Holidays” to me!
Mary Lubowski: Mimosa
Anna Martin: Candy cane hot chocolate. I like to stir my hot chocolate with a candy cane.
Megan Parker: Hot Cocoa with LOTS of Marshmallows!
Suzanne Pauli: Hot Cocoa
Taylor Poeschel: Hot chocolate
Antonya Pullen: I like regular milk
Matthew Scherer: Egg nog with freshly ground nutmeg on top.
