Cody Donoher: We make our Lebanese Baklava and package it up for friends who anxiously wait for it every year!! And of course baking our favorite Christmas cookies that we have only once a year!!

Lisa Dukicin: My favorite holiday tradition would have to be decorating the house. To transform our home into a Christmas Wonderland, every table is cleared, every cabinet is emptied, every shelf is packed away, and every wall hanging is stored. Valences and curtains are changed, some furniture pieces are swapped out for Christmas pieces. Basically the entire house is turned upside down in order to prepare it for holiday decorations. Then it takes about two months to get everything in its place and wire everything so as to not overload the circuits and have fuses blowing or set the house on fire (did that twice…not going there again). The deadline I set for having the house done is usually Thanksgiving, but this has been pushed to December 1st occasionally. That is the first day everything gets lit for the first time. Absolutely a labor of love.

Brendan Johanson: Putting together (and revising) my wish list for Santa!

Diane Johanson: Going for night drives to see holiday lights and decorations!

Zachary Lombardo: Putting up the Christmas tree and also we go for a drive and look at everyone’s Christmas lights.

Adam Lubowski: We get our santa mug out and leave milk and a cookie on Christmas Eve.

Anna Martin: Making my Grandma Rita’s pierogi and Christmas cookies are my favorite traditions! I’m a master at making potato pierogi, but kraut are my favorite to eat!!!

Megan Parker:  Megan likes her Advent Chocolate Calendar where she tells something she did nice for someone else first. Our whole family helps our church with hosting MCREST at Christmas and going to candlelight service Christmas Eve.

Taylor Poeschel: Daddy read night before Christmas, And open new pajamas Christmas eve And Christmas day night drive around and look at lights and take hot chocolate

Antonya Pullen: Sometimes decorating a Christmas trees

Matthew Scherer: I like to decorate my bedroom with Christmas lights and a little Christmas tree on top of my desk. I also love to decorate Christmas sugar cookies or a gingerbread house with my Aunt Paula and parents.
